after explosive movements

in dance and fighting.

Let’s make a mistake.

Let’s make a mistake together.

Patience, timing–I’m sure they work well,

but there’s a line.

There’s a line between patience and hesitance,

of adhering to protocol and letting chances pass.

I don’t want to do that.

I’d rather see how terribly it could unravel,

how well we could fake maturity

as we project casual acceptance

of how foolish we’ve behaved.

Why not?

Let’s make a mistake together,

and enjoy the spoils of our recklessness.
